The United States Election Industry Association
Version 2026-draft-2

GOTV Awards Terms and Conditions

DRAFT – subject to final legal review. These terms are a working draft and will be replaced by a final version.

1. Eligibility

Nominations are open to firms, operatives, consultants, vendors and volunteers of any party or affiliation for work performed in connection with the 2026 U.S. midterm election cycle. Self-nominations are permitted. The U.S. Election Industry Association may determine eligibility in its discretion and may disqualify nominations that are incomplete, inaccurate, or submitted in bad faith.

2. Submissions and license

By submitting a nomination, you represent that the information and materials you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share them. You grant the U.S. Election Industry Association a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display submitted materials for the purpose of reviewing nominations, conducting the awards, and announcing and promoting nominees and winners. Do not submit confidential or third-party material you are not authorized to share.

3. Nominee information

Nominators who provide a nominee’s contact information represent that they have a reasonable basis to share it. Contact information is used to verify nominations and communicate about the awards.

4. No purchase necessary

No purchase or payment is necessary to submit a nomination or to be eligible to win. Membership is not required to be nominated.

5. Judging, voting and integrity

Submissions are reviewed for diligence and context before voting. Every member of the industry may review and vet nominations and ask questions during the Industry Q&A period. Winners are then selected by an industry vote conducted on chain. Voting rule: for every $1 spent with or contributed to the U.S. Election Industry Association in 2026, the paying individual or firm receives 1 vote on chain in each category [subject to final awards terms]. The Association will publish how votes are allocated and tallied. The Association may disqualify any nomination or vote associated with fraud, manipulation, or abuse of the process.

6. Non-endorsement

Recognition reflects professional excellence in the elections industry. It is not an endorsement of any candidate, party, campaign, ballot measure, or position.

6a. Payments are not political contributions

Amounts spent with or contributed to the U.S. Election Industry Association, including membership dues, are not contributions to any candidate, party, or political committee, and are not represented as tax-deductible charitable contributions. Consult your own tax adviser.

7. Right to modify

The Association may modify, suspend, or cancel the awards, categories, timeline, or these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of submission is recorded with each nomination.

8. Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, the Association is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or corrupted submissions or uploads.
